Detached Stephen as son of Thomas Cheatham and Tabitha (Osborne) Branch Cheatham & proposed a merge with Stephen, son of Benjamin (a brother of Thomas who married Tabitha, if I followed the WikiTree profiles correctly).

Cheatham-705 and Cheatham-108 do not represent the same person because: Different mothers

update - merge has been completed. Thanks Thomas!

could you look again please? The profile for Cheatham-705 has no parents attached and I edited the research notes about the couple that was detached. If the two profile represent different Thomas Cheathams, could you please either detach the profile of Elizabeth (Akin) Cheatham (abt.1757-abt.1820) from the Stephen who was not her husband? You might also want to look at the children of Stephen named in the text of Cheatham-108 but who have profiles attached to Cheatham-705. Thanks!

Cheatham-705 and Cheatham-108 appear to represent the same person because: one of the children attached to Cheatham-705 is listed as a daughter in text of Cheatham-108, which also notes that Stephen's father Benjamin was the immigrant Thomas Cheatham (deleted this parenthetical).

edited - Thomas m Tabitha was a brother of Benjamin, not the immigrant. I deleted the text that mis-stated the relationship. Sorry for any confusion.

Cheatham-705 and Cheatham-108 are not ready to be merged because: Needs more research. Parents are not the same. Siblings are not the same (although some of the names are similar, ages do not match). Difficult to sort out since one profile is unsourced.
Cheatham-705 and Cheatham-108 appear to represent the same person because: something is off... Cheatham-705 has profiles for children named in will but Cheatham-108 supports different parents - both have same wife and death info

Please take a look.

Thanks!

Cheatham-679 and Cheatham-108 do not represent the same person because: Mothers do not match and 20 year difference between birth and death
