Ingeborg was born in 1745 at Nyhus, Solum.[1] She was the daughter of Christen Christensen Nyhus and Berte Pedersdatter.[1]
She was confirmed on 7 March 1762 in Solum.[2]
She married Hans Hansen (son of Hans Pedersen Smed i Sauland and Ragnhild Bjørgulfsdatter) on 11 November 1791 in Solum.[3]
In the 1801 census at Nyhus, Solum, the 56 years old Ingeborg Christensdatter is listed as once widowed, "Inderste og Dagarbeider" (lodger and day worker) in the household of [her brother] Hans Christensen.[4]
She died in 1801 at Nyhus, Solum.[5]
A probate was held 1 October 1801 at Nyhus, Solum after the deceased Ingeborg Christensdatter. She was childless, and her siblings inherit:
- 1. brother Anders Christensen. of age and living at Nyhus,
- 2. brother Hans Christensen Nyhus,
- 3. brother Peder Christensen Østgaarden. deceased and of marriage to Maren Eliasdatter left the children:
- a. Karen Marie Pedersdatter, 16 years old,
- b. Maren Dorthea Pedersdatter, 13 years old, both at home with their mother at Østgaarden under Elset here in the parish.
- 4. sister Anne Christensdatter, married to Claus Sørensen Kaasa under Hustvet in Mælum,
- 5. sister Marthe Christensdatter, married to Hans Tollefsen Lille Fjære living at the farm Lislebøe in Toen sogn in Grevskapet Jarlsberg.
