William was born about 1873 in Walpole, Cheshire County, New Hampshire.
He took as his first wife, Edith Larter, daughter of John and Sarah Larter, on 17 February 1895, in the nearby town of Keene, New Hampshire.[1] The couple had a son, Ralph Watkins Clark, who arrived on April 13, 1896 in Alstead, New Hampshire.
His second wife was Hattie M Adams of North Springfield, Vermont. She was a widow and brought a son, William, to the marriage. The marriage took place on January 4, 1904. She passed away on February 27, 1927.
On 24 September 1930, in Springfield, Vermont, Mrs. Lottie Anna Martin Hazen became his third wife.[2] She was a widow with four children of her own. They were Beatrice, John, Gladys, and Glen.
He passed away about 1931 while suffering from Hypostatic Pneumonia.[3]
