When his father's estate was settled in May 1758, Asahel was willed 35 acres of land in Lebanon.[3] This no doubt enabled him to marry later that same year.

He may be the Asahel Clark noted on the 1770 map in Cyril B. Clark's book found prior to the chapter on his father.[7]Or this Asahel could be his nephew, son of brother Nathaniel Clark Jr.
They settled in Granville, MA after 1765.[7] He may have moved there with his brother Nathaniel Jr., who settled in Granville about the same time.
Asahel died in Granville, MA in 1784 at the age of 63.[8] He is buried in the Main Road Cemetery in Granville, MA.[9]

Clark-9267 and Clark-24745 appear to represent the same person because: they both list Lydia Brewster as spouse, but Clark-9267 does not give any sources and his date of birth is best guess. Please see the sources listed for Clark-24745.
