Marie Alice Albina Claude was born at St-Hyacinthe on March 26, 1890 [1] and she was baptized there four days later. She was the first child of ten and the first daughter of six for Joseph Napoleon Glaude and Marie Cleophee Albina Gagne.
1901 Canada Census z000169438 Quebec St. Hyacinthe C Providence Village Page 4 Lines 43-49: Napoleon Claude, 35; Albina Claude (Gagne), 33; five Claude children: Alice, 11; Albani, 9; Rose, 4; Marie, 3; Alda, 1. [2] Census date: April 4-5, 1901. Napoleon's brother, Alphonse Claude and family are next door.
She passed away at St-Hyacinthe on July 11, 1905 [3] [4] at the age of 15 years and she was buried there two days later. She was the last of three children in this family who died young.
