Burial Note

Jan. 2nd 1891 - Joseph Cole, Shoemaker, died in Henry Spences' house on School Street with an attack of the gripp. He had lived in this place a long time and was buried in his lot on Drummond Hill on the south end. He was getting on pretty well in years. A brother to Edwin Cole. Left a large family all grown up. A cold south west wind blowing. No frost much in ground."[10]
