Biography

Celena Colwell was born^[1] in 1850 at Northfleet Kent, England. Her mother's maiden name was Baker.

She married^[2] Eliel Robson Cummin (b 1839 died 1884) in 1871 and had 3 children with him: Helen (born 1872), Ada (born 1874) and Maud born (1875).

Eliel Robson Cummin died in 1884 and Celena married^[3] again to William James Acworth in May 1886. No children are recorded from the marriage with William James Acworth.

In the 1891 Census^[4] William James Acworth (age 29) is living at Frindsbury, Kent, England with his wife Celena (Colwell, Cummin) Acworth (age 36) and his three step-daughters: Millie (age 17), Ada (age 16) and Maud (age 14).

Celena and William lived to old age, retiring in 1918 to Surrey.

Celena (Colwell, Cummin) Acworth died in 1949 with the death^[5] recorded in Surrey NW. She was 98 years old and her husband died the following year.
