William was born in Logan County, West Virginia on November 5, 1840. William was the child of Thomas Cook and Rebecca Sizemore. Rev. William Henry Harrison Cook was a State Senator, a Baptist Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, a soldier and a statesman. He died at age on February 11, 1923 at the age of 82 from dilation of the heart & senility (per WV Certificate of Death #3470 Dist #5531 Serial #2). He is buried at God Acre Cemetery, Rock View, Wyoming County, West Virginia.
