Biography
Anthony was born about 1809. He is the son of James Coombs and Patience Merithew.
Anthony COOMBS, born circa 1809; his marriage intentions were published at Vinalhaven, ME, on 25 Oct 1830 to Sally BAGLEY, and they were married 23 Dec 1830, by William Vinall, Esq.[1] Resided at Vinalhaven. Known as Anthony Coombs 3rd of Vinalhaven.
In 1834 Anthony Coombs, together with three of his siblings, sold his right to 60 acres in Vinalhaven to their mother, Patience (Merithew)(Coombs) Stimson.[2]
In 1856 Anthony and his wife, Sally Coombs, sold 45 acres of land in Vinalhaven, ME, to William Coombs, 2nd, of Vinalhaven.[3]
