Osite Cormier is a descendant of an Acadian

Osite was born about 1788. She married Pierre CORMIER (Amand & Marie-Josèphe Roy) in Memramcook on 26 Jan 1808. [1][2] She was interred in Cap-Pelé on 26 June 1880.[3][4]

Osite and Pierre are first cousins once removed. They are both descendants of Pierre Cormier II.

1. Pierre is the son of Amand Charles Cormier [confident] 2. Amand is the son of Pierre Cormier II [confident] This makes Pierre the grandfather of Pierre.

1. Osite is the daughter of Claude Cormier [confident] 2. Claude is the son of Pierre Cormier [confident] 3. Pierrot is the son of Pierre Cormier II [confident] This makes Pierre the great grandfather of Osite.
