Marriage reference. [1]
1851 census for her parents listed a Granddaughter, Margaret Thompson. A check on the GRO website confirmed that the mother's maiden name was Coubrough. A marriage search turned up Margaret Coubrough and Matthew/William Thompson. Margaret appears on the 1851 census as a widow, aged 38 and "born off the coast of Sweden" as her birthplace (her father was a Mariner). [2]
