Biography

Anabel, daughter of Andrew Franklin Coulter and Selora Annabelle "Lora" Clutter,[1] was born 14 October 1902 in Knox County, Ohio.[1] Before 1910 her father moved the family to Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, where he was a foreman in a railroad shop.[2] At first Andrew F. (age 39) rented a home, which he shared with his wife Lora A. B. (36, mother of one), and daughter Anabel J. M. (7).[2]

In 1920 Andrew F. (age 48, car foreman, steel company) owned the home in Pittsburgh in which he lived with his wife Lora (46) and daughter Anabel J. (17).[3]

Although no marriage record has been located, Anabel's death certificate was signed by her husband, William James Bott.[1] It appears they had no children.

Anabel died at age 30 on 12 January 1933 in Wilkinsburg from pulmonary tuberculosis.[1] Her body was returned for burial to South Lawn Cemetery in Utica, Licking County, Ohio,[4] where she was laid to by her grandfather John Alonza Clutter.[5]
