Biography

Elizabeth was born in 1800. She was the daughter of Samuel Craft and Elizabeth Davies. She passed away in 1836.[1] She is buried in the St. Peters Anglican Church Cemetery, Campbelltown, New South Wales.[2]

Having received permission to marry on 1 Sep 1821,[3] on the 15 Oct 1821, Elizabeth married William Barrett at the St Luke Parish, Liverpool.[4]

Elizabeth is remembered in the following note on her burial.

Born in the colony in the year 1800 and wife of ex-convict William Barrett, Elizabeth was living at Lower Minto at the time of her death. Part of the inscription reads: "After giving birth to twin sons, one of which now lies with her in this grave. Leaving an affectionate husband and seven children."[5]
