Biography
When Josephine 'Jodie' Crawford was born in October 1871 in South Carolina, her father, John, was 45, and her mother, Francis, was 17. She married Chesley Drayton Brown in 1886. They had 10 children during their marriage.[1] Chesley died in 1936[2] and Jodie died on February 10, 1944, in Greenwood, South Carolina, at the age of 72, and was buried in Coronaca, South Carolina.[3]
