The only known sources for Sarah are Vivian King's Pedigree, and Burke's Landed Gentry, neither of which are wholly reliable.
Both agree that she was the second daughter of Rev. Joshua D'Arcy and Sarah Fleming, that she was born in 1818, and died unmarried in 1845.
We know that her father was Rector of Lackagh, in co. Kildare at that time, so it is likely that she was born there.
