I am a medical historian interested in Dr. Richard Mead. I have seen an article that states he was the nephew of William Mead (1628-1713) and of Richard Mead of Mursley. I am wondering whether you have located documents that confirm this and if so, whether you can provide citations. Thanks,

Welcome to our community, Trish. How sad you lost contact with your father at such a young age. It's wonderful you were able to get acquainted with his side of the family in later years.
Our Honor Code, G2G message forum, help pages, search features, and many other useful links can be accessed from the menus on the upper right corner of most pages.
VERY IMPORTANT:
The more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches and our mutual global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after.
Thank you for helping in our mission to build a global tree with only one profile per person.
I began my journey into my ancestry two years ago. What an amazing experience it has been and continues to be! I grew up not knowing any of my father's family. (My parents split up before I started school and I never saw him again.) I have found and met many relatives ... including my father's youngest brother who is the last of my father's siblings. What a wonderful gift that I will treasure for always. My children and grandchildren can be proud of their roots .. and the history that our relatives contributed to in the founding of our great country.
