Biography

CSA, Co. D 64th North Carolina Infantry Allen’s Regiment. Mustered July 20, 1862
Captured at Cumberland Gap Sept 9, 1863
POW Camp Douglas. Discharged July 16, 1865.

Nathaniel F Davis was born on 25 Nov 1824 in Cleveland County, North Carolina. Nathanial married first Ann Elizabeth McKenney. They had the following children:[1]

  2. William Nathan DAVIS, b. 3 Oct 1851, Cleveland County, North Carolina d. 6 Sep 1919, Cleveland County, North Carolina [2]
  3. Mary Jane DAVIS, b. Aug 1852 North Carolina d. 4 Apr 1928, Cleveland County, North Carolina.

He married second Minerva Daves on 28 Feb 1854 in Rutherford, North Carolina. [3] They had the following children:
