Solomon Davis and his wife, Mary Zook, were the parents of Maria L. Davis, who was the wife of Upton Miller. Maria was born in Washington Co., Maryland. The children of Upton and Maria (Davis) Miller were --- William H., born July 23, 1850; Eliza J., July 8, 1855; John D., Oct. 26, 1858; Thomas M., Sept. , 1863. Mr. Miller and wife are both members of the Lutheran Church.
