Margaret J Davis was born in 1862 to Sally A Davis Davis-63057 . At this time the only information for her comes from the 1910 census. From this we learn Margaret is a farm owner and operator, as well as an employer. Her mother and younger sister, Molly, lives with her. [1]
Note
There were two Margaret Davis' in the area of Grayson/Carroll County, Virginia around the same time. Our Margaret Davis remained in the Pipers Gap area while the other Margaret lived in Old Town, modern day Galax, Virginia.
Carroll County was formed in 1842 from Grayson County, Virginia.
