Biography
Samuel Preston Davis was born April 2, 1868. In 1893, Samuel married Kate Embry Dowdle, born November 2, 1871, a daughter of Robert Allen Dowdle and Rebecca Aylette Taylor. Samuel died August 2, 1927, at the age of 59 years and is buried in the Oakland and Fraternal Historic Cemetery Park, in Little Rock, Pulaski county, Arkansas.
