Frederick Dawe was born in Thanet, Kent, England.

Frederick Benjamin Owen Dawe was born[1] in 1886. Frederick was baptised[2] on 3 October 1886 at St. John The Baptist, Margate, Kent, England.

Frederick Benjamin Owen Dawe was the son of Benjamin Dawe and Catherine Reed.

In the England 1891 Census[3] Frederick (age 4) is living with parents Benjamine Owen (age 41) and Caherine (age 38) in Margate, Margate, Kent, England. His siblings present were: Joseph Arthur (age 13); Alice Beatrice (age 11) and Wallace Edgar (age 8).

In the England 1901 Census[4] Frederick (age 14) is living in Margate with his father Benjamine Owen (age 51 - occupation Miller) and mother Catherine (age 48). No other children are home.

In the UK 1911 Census[5] Frederick Benjamin Owen Dawe (age 23) is with his father Benjamin Owen Dawe (age 61) and his brother Joseph Arthur (age 33) at 228 Uxbridge Road, Shepherds Bush West London. His occupation is recorded as an Upholsterer Journeyman.

In 1921 he visited[6] Bombay, India.

Frederick Benjamin Owen Dawe married[7] Winifred Doris Shirvell July 1930 in Lewisham. There are no records of any children yet found.

Frederick Benjamin Owen Dawe died on 21 September 1966 at Bexley, Greater London, England. In his Will[8] his death is recorded on 21 September 1966. He was living at 68 Gerda Road, London SE9. Probate to John Raynor Ackworth (Nephew) of £5,527.
