Served as a private in the War of 1812, enlisting in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Moved to Ross County, Ohio, following the war. Married Mary Maurer/Mowery in Pickaway County, Ohio in 1817.
Research Notes
Other possible death location: Pickaway, Pickaway, Ohio, United States
There is a link to Henry, but I don't think he's related to this family. This family migrated about the same time as the Mowery family from Pennsylvania with marriages between the families tying them together.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Henry by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Henry:
Delong-379 and DeLong-498 appear to represent the same person because: Same parents, same date of birth. I have sources for Henry DeLong proving death, marriage and children.
