Rachel Decker was born on August 13, 1803 in Shawangunk, Ulster County, New York, United States. Her parents were Johannes Cornelius Decker and Sarah Depuy.[1]
She married Richard Jackson on September 17, 1839 in Shawangunk.[2] They had two children.
Rachel passed away at an age of forty-eight on April 22, 1852. She is buried in the
Bruynswick Rural Cemetery.[4]
