Jacques Delors was a French politician who served as the eighth president of the European Commission from 1985 to 1995. As president of the Commission, he played a key role in the creation of the single market and the euro.
Jacques was born in 1925. He was the son of Louis Delors and Jeanne Joséphine Rigal. In 1948 he married Marie Lephaille and they had one daughter Martine and one son Jean-Paul. He passed away in 2023.
