Keturah Denison was the fifth child of Daniel Denison. She was born about 1762, probably at Walpole, New Hampshire, where her birth family had relocated during that year, coming from Saybrook, Connecticut. The identity of her mother is not evident.
She married 3 Oct 1786 Edward Watkins [son of Nathan & Esther S. (Lyons) Watkins]; they had 5 children:
Miriam Watkins, b. 7 Mar 1791; married 18 Nov 1806 John Denison
Ira Watkins, b. 19 Apr 1793; died young, fell from a horse
