She wed Joseph Dupre on February 13, 1757 at St Jean Baptiste des Natchitoches.[1]
After Joseph died in 1782, she married New Orleans native, Jean Marchant, the reported son of Bernard Marchant and Cecilia Christophe in Natchitoches on May 22, 1784.[2][3] Elizabeth Shown Mills indicates that his name was Jean Gregoire and that his father is actually unknown. He interchanged surnames of the men his mother had relationships with, using Marchand, Castel, and Varangue (the French version of Barranco.)[4] They had no surviving children.

The editor has not been able to determine that it is an abbreviation for any word in the French language-- the language used by Fr. Eustache.
