Joseph Dupre, Jr. was born February 22, 1758 and was baptized four days later at St Jean Baptiste des Natchitoches.[1]
Joseph wed Marie Francoise Lecompte, the daughter of Jean Baptiste LeCompte and Marguerite Le Roy, on May 18, 1780 at the same church where he'd been baptized.[2]
