In the 1930 census Elbert (age 55), Farmer, was the widowed head of household in Police Jury Ward 5, Caddo, Louisiana, United States.[5] Elbert died on ~April 10, 1941 in Greenwood aged ~66 and was buried in Greenwood, Caddo Parish, Louisiana, United States.[6]
