Johannes was born in Joehlingen and according to Stumpp, his wife was born in Stettfeld, Bruchsal. Stettfeld is not near or part of Bruchsal. The distance between Stettfeld and Joehlingen is approximately 275 Km (170 miles).

Bruchsal is a town that is approximately 12 miles from Joehlingen. These distances indicate that Katharina's birth location was more than likely Bruchsal rather than Stettfeld.

Birth year is calculated from the Crimea 1852 Catholic Inventory of Zurichtal.
