Biography
1834 Ebenezer B. Dibley[1] was born about 1834.[2]
Odd, as he is listed as being born in WIsconsin, considering his father never arrived in USA until a year after his birth. Either conceived in UK and born here, or more likely born out of wedlock to Achsah or from a previous relationship of Achsah's, then adopted by Joseph Dibley?
Age 26 odd, as marked born in Wisconsin, but his father didn't arrive in USA until 1835, which would make him 25, or born in Sussex, England. Listed as Farm Labourer.
This information repeated because Ebenezar Dibley in 1850 Census was recorded as Ebenesar Fowle in 1860 Census. Did he have a row with his father, or prefer his mothers maiden name, as Fowle's were more successful in Oak Creek? Cannot say.[3][4]
