Biography

Andrew Jackson Doane was born in 1832 in Pennsylvania.[1]

Andrew married Melissa Rowley on 1 Jan 1856 in Tioga Village, Tioga County, Pennsylvania[2] and they had the following known children:

  1. Dolly Doane, b. 1860[1]
  2. Nellie Doane b. 1867[3]

In the 1860 United States Federal Census, Andrew (age 28) was in Farmington, Tioga, Pennsylvania, United States.[1]

In the 1870 United States Federal Census, Andrew (age 37) was the head of household in Farmington Township, Tioga, Pennsylvania, United States.[3]

In the 1880 United States Federal Census, Andrew (age 46), Farmer, was the married head of household in Farmington Township, Tioga, Pennsylvania, United States.[4]

In the 1900 United States Federal Census, Andrew (age 67) was the married head of household in Tuscarora, Steuben, New York, United States.[5]

In the 1905 New York State Census, Andrew (age 71y) was the head of household in Tuscarora, A.D. 01, E.D. 01, Steuben, New York.[6]

Andrew died on 4 Jan 1906 and was buried in Addison, Steuben, New York, United States.[7]
