Celeste Dore, daughter of Jacques Dore and Ursule Perron, was born in L'île des Cypres in the Breaux Bridge area of Louisiana in late 1794.

She married Eloi Picard in 1815, a few months before her 21st birthday.[1]

  3. Jean Louis Picard (1819)
  4. Silesie Picard (1820-1824)[3]

In 1850 she and Eloi were living in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana with two of their sons and two Roy grandchildren. Their son Jean Louis was next door, and many of the neighbors were relatives.[6]

She died at an unknown date after 13 November 1850 in St. Martin, Louisiana.
