Effey "Effie" Drane b. abt. 1801 Appling, Columbia Co, GA d/o Walter Piles Drane and Althea Magruder.^[1]

Research Note

Walter Drane wrote his will on 20 Nov 1807, Baldwin Co., GA, and names "Efey" as one of his children. The will was proved in Columbia Co., GA. ^[2]

1869 Death and Will

Effie bef. 11 May 1869 Upson Co, GA. ^[8] Her will says she was of Talbot Co., GA, and the will was proved in Talbot Co., GA, on 11 May 1869. She included this statement in her will: “As all my property is in the county of Upson I wish this my will proven in said county and put to record and executed there.”^[7] Death also listed as Aug 1860 in Kelsey, Monroe Co, GA.
