James Dunlop is Notable.

James Dunlop was born at Dalry, Ayrshire, Scotland, on the 31st of October 1793, the son of John Dunlop and Janet Boyle.

James married Jean Service, at Kilwinning, Ayrshire, Scotland, on the 14th of June 1816.^[1]

They had no children.

James began his career as astromomer's assistant, after meeting Sir Thomas Brisbane, and travelled to Australia in 1821.

James Dunlop passed away in 1848.
