Biography

He was the son of Matthew Duty and Catherine Ballard.

He was the Executor of his father's estate in 1782, one of the children who was over 21 years old.

In the Caswell Co. Marriage Bond book, William Duty married Rachel Warren on 13 Feb 1783. From Converging Paths - one of their sons, Joseph, married Polly Fitch in Caswell Co., 18 Mar 1826, their son WIlliam F. Dutty emigrated to Texas.
