Joanne was born in 1936. She was the daughter of Warren Earle and Geraldine Wheeler. She passed away in 2007. Joanne Black, 70 Salem: Joanne Black, 70 of Hamilton Street, Salem, died unexpectedly Sunday, July 1, 2007 at the Tufts-New England Medical Center, Boston. Born in Boston she was the daughter of Geraldine (Wheeler) Earle and the late Warren E. Earle of Peabody. She attended Lynn Schools and graduated from Lynn English High School, Class of 1954. She received her Bachelor's Degree from the University Massachusetts Amherst, Class of 1958. She also graduated from Katharine Gibbs School Mrs. Black moved to Montana in the mid 1960's where she raised her family and was involved in volunteer work in the community. She moved back to Lynn in 1981, and was employed as a paralegal for the law firm Goodwin, Proctor and Hoar in Boston for many years until she retired in 2001. She resided in Lynn until moving to Salem five years ago. She was also a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Salem. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, [ 4 living]. She is also survived by her brother Robert W Earle of Barnstable, three grandchildren and five nieces and five nephews, The Salem News, Thursday July 5, 2007
