Lavinia was born November 25, 1788 in Greene Co Tennessee. She married Joseph William Looney on August 20, 1807 in Greene Co. Tennessee. He was born about 1887 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Very little is known of this couple. Forty years later they are found in Texas around descendants of Elizabeth Earnest who had married Rev Joseph Evans. Lavinia and Joseph also knew Felix Blount Earnest, the son of Felix. The Looney's helped settle his estate. Lavinia and Joseph had ten children. Little is known of them beyond a few facts and dates.
