Biography
Born in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, 1866, his family is in Brickerville, Lancaster County bt 1870, and in Heidelberg, Lebanon County, by 1880. Not long after that, the family moved to Octavia, Butler County, Nebraska, where John married Mary Elizabeth Whips in 1893.
John lived in Nebraska until after 1935. He and Mary lived with grandson George E Fraze in Genesse, Michigan, by 1940.

On 13 February 1893, John Eberly m. Mary Elizabeth WHIPS. They had children:
1. Flo Marie Whips EBERLY; b. 13 Mar 1894; m. George W Frase; 3 ch.
2. Elias Fletcher EBERLY; b. 28 Apr 1898; m. Clara Brochert; no known children (?)
3. AIdyl Ruth EBERLY; b. 19 Jul 1901; m. John William Owens; 2 ch.
4. Wallace George "Jerry" EBERLY; b. 10 May 1907; m. Freda (Buckles), 3 stepchildren.; and a biological child with Ethyl Kohler ( Jo Ann b. 1930)
