DUNGOG.
[From our Correspondent]
May 19. - On Tuesday last, the 13th instant, Mr. Peter Egan was taken suddenly ill with, we were informed, an apoplectic fit, which nearly deprived him of his speech, but not entirely ; he was just able to dictate whilst his will was being made and, expired on the following morning at about 9 o'clock. He left a wife and a family of small children to lament their loss. He was followed to the grave by a very large concourse of persons. There were about one hundred persons on horseback, and forty-two on foot, one gig containing three persons, in all numbering one hundred and forty-five persons.[4]
