Biography

Mary was born in 1839. She was the daughter of Joel Eggers and Sarah Wilson. She was recorded with them in 1850 in Watauga, NC.

She married 1st William G. Aldridge, AKA Calloway (1833-1864) about 1855. They had four children, according to FamilySearch:

She was recorded with William Calaway and three children in Watauga, NC in 1860. William died of smallpox during the Civil War.

She married 3rd Joseph Asbury Dyson/Dison (1856-1929) on 27 Mar 1881 in Mitchell, NC.^[1][2] They had one son who died in infancy:

She passed away in 1914. She is buried in John Johnson Cemetery in Crossnore, Avery, NC. The headstone says "Mary Polly Eggers Calloway Vance Dison."
