Carl Gustaf Ekman was born in a village around an iron mill known as Forssa Stångjärnsbruk, in Östra Vingåker Parish, Södermanland County, Sweden, 14 Feb 1864.[2] He was the son of Johan Ekman and Anna Törnqvist.[2]
