Biography

Issac was born in 1836 in Boone County, Indiana, son of William Emert and Fanny New. He appeared on the U.S. Census of 1850 in his parents' household. He married Susanna Jane Gipson on 28 Jan 1855 and they had twelve children. After Susanna's death, he married Martha A Bowman. He died, a farmer, in 1923 and was buried in Mt Zion Cemetery, Lebanon, Boone, Indiana.
