Samuel Emery (Ambrose,James,Jonathan,John), son of Ambrose Emery and Rebecca Yocum, was born March 8, 1779 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.[1] He married Sarah Anderson, daughter of Richard and Mary Anderson, in Cumberland Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania on April 7, 1808. Sarah was born in 1791 in Greene County, Pennsylvania.[2]
They lived in 1815 in Greene County and then some time before 1820 they moved to New Market, Ohio[3] where they spent the rest of their lives.[4][5][6][7][8] Samuel died on April 5, 1856 and Sarah died on April 6, 1881.
They had twelve children.
