Biography

Anders Ericsson was born on September 21, 1758 in Carlstorp in Fröjered parish, Skaraborg, Sweden. He was the son of Eric Pehrsson and his wife Kerstin Andersdotter.

Anders married Lisa Lennartsdotter on February 18, 1779 in Fröjered. He lived in Nohlgården, and she on Orrleka at the time. They were both 21 years old. They had at least nine children: Lars b. 1779, Stina b. 1783, Ingrid b. 1785, Maria b. 1787, Erik b. 1789, Johannes (1791-1791), Lisa b. 1792, Cajsa b. 1794 and Andreas b. 1797.

The family lived in Hallagården until 1795, and then moved to Skövde.

We find the family in Brandstorp in Våmb parish, Skaraborg in 1797. Anders died on April 27, 1798 in Brandstorp. He was only 40 years old. He died of fever (sv. hetsig feber).
