Sarah (Estep) Dotson was born 1 Jul 1781 in North Carolina.

She died in 1860 in Johnson City, Washington, Tennessee.

Note: NC CENSUS RECORDS SHOW HER AS SARAH ? AND THAT SHE DIED AFTER 1860: FAMILY RECORDS SHOW HER AS Sarah Estep. Other records show her as Nellie Green. She had a son, William (Billy) out of wedlock by Ben Arnold. After their marriage, Reuben adopted him and changed his name to Dotson. William moved to PawPaw and that line of Dotsons are called the PawPaw Dotsons, but they are not bloodrelated to the Peter Creek Dotsons.</p>

Her parentage is listed in the records of Ann Arundel Co., Md. Sarah was born about 1781. She passed away about 1860.
