Biography

Nora was born in 1906. She is the daughter of Pleasant Evans and Dora Swift. ^[1]

In 1920, Mayme, age 13, lived with her parents and five siblings in Oak Ridge, Grayson, Kentucky. She did not attend school during the year prior to the census. ^[2]

Mayme married Beaulah Valentine Dockery who preceded her in death, see Find A Grave citation below.

Death and Burial

Nora Mayme Evans Dockery died on 3 July 1987, at the age of 81. She is buried in Owensboro Memorial Gardens, Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky, USA. ^[3]
