Man's Amazing Escape

GRAFTON, Thursday.-When a pile of timber collapsed at Fraser's mill, Abel Steven Everingham (23), who was unable to get clear, was buried beneath about two ton of beams. His workmates expected to find the man crushed beneath it, but were amazed to find that he was not only alive but conscious when they extricated him. He suffered injuries to the shoulders and both legs.
