Meriam married Joshua Reed on March 2, 1784 in Princeton [2]
After her children had grown and left home, Joshua and Miriam moved from Sterling to Shutesbury where their son William lived with his family. It is most likely Miriam who is the 70-79 year old woman in the household of William Reed in the 1840 Census. [3]
She passed away on December 19, 1844 in Shutesbury, Massachusetts [4] and is buried in the West Cemetery in Shutesbury. [5]
