Biography
Rebecca Farnsworth, daughter of Joseph of Dorchester was born Jan. 2, 1639/40.[1]
She married John Ruggles, son of George Ruggles and Elizabeth (--?--), on 18 Jan. 1662 or 18 March 1662 at Braintree, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts.[1][2] The service was by Capt. Hubbert.
She died on 28 Oct. 1713/14 "an aged woman." at Braintree, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts, New England, at age 74.[1]

Will of Rebecca Ruggles widow & relict of John. "being well stricken in years", Jan. 3, 1710/11 - Nov. 4, 1714: To s. John 40/. To son Joseph feather bed I now lye on. To son in law Jonathan Hayward 20/. To son in law Jonathan Jones 20/. To grand dau. Sarah Hayward my chest which has her mother's clothes in it. Rest to dau. Elizabeth Belcher & my 3 grand daus. Sarah & Ruth Jones & Sarah Hayward, dau. Elizabeth to have a double portion. Son John & son in law Gregory Belcher executors. Wit: Peter Adams, Josiah Vesey, Joseph Parmenter.[1]
