Biography

Clara Fegan (married name Holmes) was born around 1870 in New Zealand, the daughter of Helen (Rolling) Fegan and John Fegan.^[1]

She married Laurence Edward Carter Holmes on 17 March 1896 in Victoria, Australia.^[2] Their children were:

• Hazel Carter Holmes (1897–1900)^[3]
• Lionel Stanley Holmes (1898–1917)^[4]
• Eileen Frances Holmes (1900–1972)^[5]
• Norman Edward Holmes (1903–1965)^[6]
• Faith Holmes (1906–1987)^[7]

Clara died on 17 March 1906 at Korumburra, Victoria, aged 35.^[1][8][9] Her remains are interred at Korumburra Cemetery, Section y Allotment 95.^[10]
